Farm Share Agreement
The 18 week Farm Share subscription begins June 15 & ends October 12, 2010.
By signing the Farm Share agreement, Farm Share Members commit to participate in the Wisteria Gardens 2010 CSA season and agree to abide by the policies herein. The Farmer harvests fresh produce on the day of pickup. Farm Share Members receive an assortment of produce grown and selected by Wisteria Gardens CSA in exchange for their share payment. The Farm Share fee is not refundable, as the farmer uses these funds at the first of the season to purchase seeds and other supplies for the CSA. The farmer plants, tends and harvests. The Farm Share Member picks up their share and washes their own produce before storing and/or preparing food for eating.
Farm Share Members agree to pick up their share of produce each week at the Farm as scheduled. If members do not arrive as agreed, their share may be donated to someone in need. If Members wish to discontinue their subscription, they will recruit their own replacement or have someone else pick up their weekly share, or forfeit the share. This contract is transferrable per agreement between Farm Shareholder and Farmer. Farm visits other than the regular pick up times must be scheduled by appointment with Kevin 360-904-0221.
Members share in both the rewards of the harvest and the risks of farming, understanding that there may be weather conditions or other factors beyond the farmer’s control, and as a result, certain crops may be overabundant or not as prolific as anticipated. If the Members’ family does not eat a particular variety of crop, they agree to switch out any produce with other produce in the exchange area, or leave it for someone else.
