Wisteria Gardens Adult Care Home
Established as a Licensed Adult Family Home in 2001 by Care Provider Jo Lyn Cornelsen, RN, this Victorian style home was built in 1987.
Adapted for Adult Care, it features main floor private and semi-private rooms, shared ADA accessible bathrooms, an open living and dining area, and a large back patio.
Upstairs guest rooms are quite private. The view from the MBR view is peacefully panoramic.
Residents, family and friends visit or relax and enjoy the serenity of the landscape. Large windows provide an abundance of light with expansive, beautiful views of flowers, trees, fountains and sky.
Nurturing Family Atmosphere
Wisteria Gardens AFH is truely a family home. We value each individual as a creation of God.
Personalized high quality care in our cozy home environment nurtures companionship, understanding, respect, individual worth, spirituality, dignity, privacy and choice.
Quality Care Assurance
Quality of life at Wisteria Gardens AFH begins with a professional nursing assessment and customized plan of care for every resident.
The mental, physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs of the resident are considered.
Working closely with residents' families, physicians and other health care providers, we strive to provide the highest level of care possible and to accomodate changing needs to allow residents to age in place.
We make the effort to go Above and Beyond the minimum licensing requirements in providing for the needs and comfort of our residents.
Activities
Our wellness program combines the medical model of professional care with the social model of assisted living, providing supportive and preventive health services while emphasizing recreation and life enrichment activities.
Residents choose from numerous activities integrated into daily life, such as nature walks, bird watching, gardening, exercises, music, movies, cooking, audio books, games and individualized worship services.
We honor our residents as unique individuals, and endeavor to bring joy to this part of their journey.
Staff
Wisteria Gardens provides well-trained, compassionate caregivers. We strive to deliver high quality, individualized care in all aspects of daily living.
